ARSENAL PARADE - THE RED SMOKE - Limited Edition

This print is of the oil painting that was painted live from a rooftop at Islington Green as thousands of Arsenal fans waited for many hours for their teams to pass by.  It was a memorable day and I was delighted that there was such a joyful response to my painting. It was a great moment when the buses finally arrived - people had been waiting all day - so many smoke flares were let off that everything across the route became red.  I have always enjoyed abstract painting - just going for the mood itself, and this painting pretty much reflects the exhilaration I felt.

For those who want a special print signed by me, I have made this limited print.  Each print is produced using archival inks on heavy fine-art paper. Before dispatch I will inspect each one, sign it, and assign its edition number along the bottom margin.

This print is 16" x 20". The image size is 12" x 16", with a 2" white border.  It is designed to fit a 16" x 20" frame.
