THE ARSENAL PARADE
The Arsenal Parade was a fantastic and memorable celebration and I was delighted to be in such a good position to enjoy it from a rooftop on Essex Rd. It is great that so many people want a memory of that day and so I am producing these prints of the pictures I painted - I hope they bring back the happiest memories for you and that you are able to keep that memory on your wall at home.
I have painted many sports - I painted Sir Ian Botham's portrait on the roof of a stadium in Pakistan, made while he took breaks in commentating on a Test match in Lahore - that portrait hangs in Lord's Pavilion. I was commissioned by The FA to paint a four metre wide painting of the first FA Cup Final at the new Wembley Stadium in 2007- that oil painting hangs in their headquarters. Sunday 31st May was a standout day and I hope that its joy is reflected in these pictures. I am really delighted to be able to share these prints of my oil paintings with you through the power of social media!
The prints are available in two distinct editions:
